AutoLab Calibrations
Privacy policy.
This policy explains how AutoLab handles service-request information, mobile contact information, uploaded evidence, and website measurement.
Effective August 15, 2026
Information collected through this website
AutoLab Calibrations may use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand visits, page views, referral sources, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions with website call and text links. These services may use cookies or similar technologies.
Calls, texts, and vehicle information
Selecting a call or text link may be recorded as a website interaction. AutoLab's business phone may record the brief caller introduction requested by its disclosed screening prompt and any voicemail a caller chooses to leave. The connected customer conversation is not recorded by this workflow. Information you submit through the assessment or send directly—such as contact details, a VIN, dashboard photo, scan report, or repair history—is used to review your service request, recommend a service path, and communicate with you.
Customer-care text messages
When you provide a mobile number through the service-request form, you may separately and voluntarily choose to receive customer-care text messages from AutoLab Calibrations. The consent checkbox is optional and is not selected by default. You can submit a service request and receive a phone call or email without agreeing to text messages. You may also consent by initiating a text conversation with AutoLab at its published business number.
Customer-care messages may include responses to your inquiry, appointment scheduling and reminders, requests for vehicle or repair information, diagnostic or calibration status updates, pickup or delivery coordination, and invoice or final-document notifications. Message frequency varies according to your active service request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. Additional program details appear in our Terms and Conditions.
Mobile information and non-sharing
AutoLab does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.
AutoLab may use service providers solely to operate its communications and business systems, such as message delivery, website hosting, file storage, or internal notifications. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services on AutoLab's behalf; they are not authorized to use mobile information for their own marketing.
Service-request records and uploaded files
Assessment submissions are stored in AutoLab's private lead system so the request, attachments, follow-up status, and service outcome are not dependent on a single email. Uploaded files are not made publicly available. AutoLab may use an email-delivery service to send an internal notification that a new request is ready for review.
Private diagnostic workfiles
Authorized AutoLab personnel may use a private ChatGPT assistant to retrieve and update a vehicle workfile while diagnosing a service concern. The assistant connection is used to organize submitted vehicle information, evidence, testing, findings, next steps, and service outcomes. Workfiles are not published on the public website, and customer identifiers are not used in public web searches.
How information is used
AutoLab uses submitted information to review and respond to service requests, communicate about appointments and active jobs, create diagnostic workfiles, prepare service and billing records, deliver requested documents, and maintain a history of customer communications. Website measurement helps us understand which pages, searches, and advertisements lead customers to AutoLab and improve the website.
Retention and security
AutoLab retains service, diagnostic, consent, communication, and billing records for legitimate business, documentation, and legal purposes. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect private records, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You can limit cookies through your browser settings and manage personalized advertising through Google's advertising settings. Blocking measurement cookies does not prevent you from calling or texting AutoLab. You may decline the optional SMS checkbox, reply STOP to end text messages, or contact AutoLab to request correction or deletion of information when legally and operationally appropriate.
