What the vehicle showed
ADAS warnings often involve several systems at once. The useful question is not simply whether a calibration can be selected, but whether the vehicle is electrically, mechanically, and electronically ready to complete it.
Adaptive cruise control and related front-assist functions remained unavailable.
A previous installer had been unable to access or complete the system procedure.
The radar did not fit correctly with the installed aftermarket grille or carrier.
The emblem and radar window showed haze or contamination in the sensor's field of view.

The restricted-view fault kept attention on what the radar could see through—not only whether the calibration target and vehicle position were correct.
With the hazy or contaminated emblem removed from the radar's path, the calibration held. That isolated the window as a meaningful part of the failure.
Removing the obstruction proved the diagnosis; it was not the finished vehicle configuration. The recommended repair was a correct OEM radar window or emblem that restored the designed signal path.
What this case teaches
A radar can be electronically functional and still fail because its mounting reference or sensor window is wrong.
Aftermarket grille, carrier, and emblem components must be evaluated when ACC problems follow front-end work.
A restricted-view code should direct inspection toward contamination, coatings, damage, moisture, and incompatible material in front of the sensor.
A successful test with an obstruction removed confirms direction, but the vehicle still needs the correct finished components.
